Chris Schwarz provides Canyon Snow's clients with research, analysis, and strategic plans to address vital policy matters, regulatory issues, supply chain transparency, and corporate social responsibility. He focuses on navigating the public policy landscape for the innovation economy, including the advancements in artificial intelligence, autonomous vehicles, and the internet of things.
Prior to joining Canyon Snow, Chris worked in a Congressional office representing Silicon Valley where he focused on the impacts of tax, trade, energy, and economic policy on the region and organized a number of town hall-style forums and roundtable discussions on the economy, small business growth, and clean technology. He has been an invited speaker at public policy discussions on climate change, new vehicle technologies, and zero-net energy buildings, and brings to Canyon Snow a passion for building bridges between the innovation economy, the public policy arena, and the community. In his spare time, Chris volunteers for local campaigns that support open space, and serves on the advisory board for Valley Politics, a local broadcast of politics in San Jose. Chris earned his bachelor's degree in Political Science from San Jose State University and serves on the Political Science Alumni Leadership Group.
